No operational prototype or validated performance result is claimed. The present work defines data boundaries and test hypotheses.
Problem statement
Information systems can promote interpretations into apparent facts, count repeated claims as independent corroboration and obscure the origin of analytical conclusions. These failures consume attention and distort decision-making.
Proposed capability boundaries
- Separate immutable source observations from interpreted claims.
- Represent dependency and provenance between reports.
- Preserve competing assessments and their revisions.
- Expose uncertainty and decision consequences without asserting intent absent evidence.
First validation scenario
A synthetic interaction involving Subjects A and B generates an unsupported relationship inference and derivative reporting. The demonstration will test whether the system prevents artificial elevation of confidence while retaining all source records.
Success measures
Traceability completeness, false association promotions, independence classification errors, unsupported task creation and analyst review time.
