Problem statement

A complete information picture and a useful decision picture are not always the same. Excessive visual prominence can turn incidental information into operational distraction.

Proposed interaction

Begin with a complete authorized intelligence picture. Apply a mission-bound relevance layer that reduces the prominence of unrelated details while retaining drill-back access to underlying evidence. Distinguish mission relevance, evidentiary confidence and urgency as separate dimensions.

Planned tests

• Time to identify material changes under high event volume.
• Operator ability to recover hidden contextual records.
• False suppression of critical exceptions.
• Explanation quality for why an item was emphasized or deemphasized.

Safety constraint

Filtering must never delete data or silently remove a critical authorized notification. Human override and traceable filtering policy are required.
