Mission Continuity

A specified two-node demonstration of prioritized synchronization under degraded conditions.

C1-MC-001Specification preparedRevision 0.1 · 08 Oct 2026
Current maturity: specification prepared

A system requirements/interface-control specification exists internally. Passing implementation tests has not been claimed.

Project objective

Test whether an independently persisted edge environment can preserve local records during disconnection, receive authorized changes on reconnection and prioritize materially relevant updates under constrained transport.

Bounded initial scenario

Two isolated nodes; synthetic infrastructure observations; interruption followed by upstream updates; bandwidth-constrained reconnection; verified final state convergence.

Engineering concerns

  • Event identity, idempotency and replay.
  • Authorized delta packaging and dependency-aware transfer.
  • Durable acknowledgments and recovery checkpoints.
  • Local state integrity and operational awareness of data staleness.

Proposed measurements

Bytes transferred, time to first relevant update, time to full convergence, duplicate suppression, crash recovery and policy compliance. Compare against full-snapshot and unprioritized delta baselines.

Relationship to other research

Continuity is a resilience mechanism. Mission-aware relevance and information integrity are separate analytical problems; connectivity improvements do not eliminate those problems.
